I itch

Yes, that's right. I itch. I got sunburned on Saturday and now it's starting to itch. It's annoying! Plus, I got into trouble by Nick's dad for actually getting sunburned in the first place :-) But it was a really fun weekend and I actually talked to my family - including my nieces and nephews - so I relaxed a bit and sorta let things go for now. This has to be the most boring post ever. I don't think much will happen today so I will leave and hope that something exciting does happen so I can write about it.

Ok, gonna be the big sister and nag you.....with the health history in our family, do you REALLY think it is wise to get a sunburn?? Especially since there is such a thing as sunscreen/ sunblock!! Come on, use your brains for something besides Chakotay and history! hehehe Love Ya!!!

I am horribly jealous that you all got to hang out and go to the zoo. And I still haven't got to meet Nick and everyone else has!!! I hate school! And work on the weekends! I'm feeling quite sorry for myself. On the plus side, I think I am quite unlike many of you in terms of your discussion about things working out. I planned since grade school to be a psychologist and that never wavered except for the whole nun thing, which was only a product of my existential fears about death and guilt over the fact that I wanted to have Oedipal sex with my father. Oh, and of course my repressed memories of sexual abuse and my terrific penis envy. But the nun thing was always side by side on the psychologist thing. Plus, I wasn't concerned about having any kind of a relationship and getting married until I started dating Dean. And then we just continued along and I don't have any particular fears about our future...we'll either get married or we won't. This is not to say my life is easy, but that it's working out quite like I expected. But that may only be because I didn't have any specific expectations.

Nick's a cool guy. Just a word of caution. Do not use the verb "scrapbooking" around him.

and Kay, whose penis are you envious of?

LOL..sis, you know me too well! Love you too and I will be more careful - I even bought some of the cool oil-free sunscreen Sport so I can use it when I run and all and it's SPF 30! SO I will be protected.

You guys are great. And Brad, of course she's jealous of your penis! I'm glad you liked Nick; he liked you guys too. Kay, you lucky, on track person! I thought Oedipus wanted to have sex with his mother! Isn't that the story? Maybe I'm confused over my Greek incest stories...hmm

Katie is correct. I think the weird Oedipus-greek-type figure for women is Elektra, but I could be wrong.

Oh, also, sorry I wasn't there. I didn't finish shoveling sand until like 6 or 7. But you should see the swing set now! Very exciting!
