Ahh, Memories

You can find these on YouTube - also, there is apparently a DVD available from KWCH that has some of the episodes of Santa's Workshop with ToyBoy. I would LOVE to have that for Christmas, wouldn't you?

Honestly, some days during December I would be late to school not because of over sleeping as was par, but because I was watching ToyBoy and Santa...they rocked.

I totally miss ToyBoy - of course, being a kid around Christmas was so much more fun than being an adult is. I get around that by being a kid at heart. Which I hope to never grow out of.

It's coming back on the air this year, and every day they have him (and it's Cake Boy now) counting down the days 'til Christmas. I loved this show when I was a kid.

Cake Boy?

It's apparently the original name for the puppet (in the episodes that aired before we were born). He is basically still Toy Boy, but he wears a chef's hat.

I did love Toy Boy. By the way, I liked your previous article even though it was ridiculously long:) Kay

Thanks Kay! And seriously, Toy Boy is SOOOO much better than Cake Boy

Any chance of a link to the DVD's? I'm having trouble finding them but would love to get them for my siblings!

I think it's actually "kake boy" because he was originally on KAKE Channel 10. But I like toy boy way better to. I remember watching it with my cousins. "How many days til Christmas, Santeee??"

Thanks Ramee, I couldn't find that, though I did look at the Kake site. Yeah, Toy Boy is way better!

I was just talking about these with brad, because Nora's penguin puppet was sounding suspicously like ToyBoy. Hee.
